While visiting the Seattle Aquarium there are lots of exhibits to see. There is the Life on the Edge exhibit for instance. This exhibit lets people experience what all kind of sea life lives in the tide pools on the state of Washington's sea coasts. And the nice thing about it, is that you don't have to look through glass to see the creatures, they are just open from the top.
Another exhibit to see would be the Window of Washington Waters. This one is a huge take that holds 120,000 gallons and has divers come and do a show. The fish are native to the area and include salmon and some colorful rock fish. The divers have special masks that are equipped with a microphone to help give onlookers a presentation.
At the Pacific Coral Reef exhibit you can look at the type of corals that thrive in the Pacific Oceans. There are different areas of the tank that have different depths to help show what lives in those areas. Around the same area are smaller tanks that you can view the small fish that live within the coral.
The Marine Mammals exhibit is where you can bring the family to see what types of mammals actually live in the water. The animals include fur seals, harbor seals and sea otters. They have a viewing area above where you see the seals sun bath and the otters at play, or you can go below to watch them swim around and see how graceful they really are.
You can spend a day at the fish market, but what about the rest of the time? Well it is in Seattle so there are plenty of things to do. You could make an entire week out of Seattle if you would like. You could go and rent a charter boat to go and spend some time out on the water fishing for your own fish. You could even just go do the tourist thing and visit other spots.
